Will be heading to Bangkok / Phuket in October - would like to do River Kwai tour - have read Cathy and Gary%26#39;s ';tour from hell'; - Can anyone please advise what operator this was, i see no contact on the web page.

River Kwai, etc
River Kwai tours are pretty routine. Most any travel agent in Bangkok can set you up with one. Even some of the more expensive hotels also may be able to sell this tour.
You have a day tour and overnight tours. Some tours include the Hell Fire Pass and museum portion too! Some tours include a ride on a railroad and a visit to the cemetary. All will be explained to you at the travel office.
The travel agents will be able to show you a menu book of tours and prices. Up to you what you pick.
I find that most of the tour operators are pretty reliable. You put your money down, they pick you up at your hotel and return you there after the tour is over. Pretty simple! Hundreds of travel agents in Bangkok, there will be several near your hotel unless you chose a place out in the middle of nowhere!
