Clothing

Hi to all,

Just wondering if someone can help me please.

Travelling to Bangkok/Phuket in September, and are unsure if i am going to struggle to get clothes my size.

I am a larger size in tops (size 18 or large / x large), and size12/14 in bottoms.

Any help would be appreciated and maybe where to find these.

We are 1st time travellers to Thailand.

Thanks heaps .

Helen.

Hi Helen,

As a general statement - yes you will have lots of trouble finding clothing.

Apparently anything over a size 12 is very hard to find...which is sort of understandable as thai people are so petite, but not great for the tourists.

I know you are able to get men%26#39;s sized XL+ but have not read anything on this forum about womens (only that larger sizes hardly, if at all exist!) apart from sarong type dresses etc.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can help you out.

Best of luck

HI

Another option is shop for fabric you like

then find a good taylor to make what ever you want

take tops and bottoms you love that fit you, Give to taylor to match.

then you have a hand made item%26#39;s made just for you.

shouldn%26#39;t cost that much.

Thank-you to you all for your replys.

Obviously i have to get the boobs chopped off, but not for this holiday anyway,as we only have 39 more sleeps to go.(they always create a problem for me).

Any more advice on where to go/things to do would be great.

We are travelling with an 8 %26amp; 4 yr old girls.

Thanks heaps!

Rhicat.
