tattoo parlors

fancy getting myself a tattoo when i go to thailand in september, does anybody know of any really good tattoo parlors in either bangkok or ko samui?

There are quite a few tattoo parlours on samui - mostly round Chaeweng but there are others dotted around the island. We were staying on Chongmon beach which is just north of Chaeweng and we went to Reds Tattoos which is a tiny little shop about the size of a bathroom right on Chongmon beach front between Imperial Boathouse hotel and Sala samui/ the white house hotel. Both me and the hubby got tattoos done and the guy actually personally designed mine for me when i said what kind of thing i was looking for. We negotiated a price to have both done (i could not believe battering works for tattoos too!) and then the tattooist even did a ';touch up'; on one of my hubbies old tattoos that wasnt done too good when he originally had it done in the uk! Cant remeber how much we paid but it worked out alot cheaper than getting it doen in the uk and it was clean.

thers a couple on Khao San road in BKK right in the entrance hall to Buddy lodge and at least one more on the street

is there any tattooists around thailand which are famous for being really good, as it is a tattoo im after and it being there for life i could really do with a good one.
