hello everybody!

i%26#39;m going to a trip to thailand and vietnam in 3 weeks. some questions came up...

1. what is the most efficient way to go from bangkok to saigon? with a direct flight, or through penom-pen in cambodia? is there another way?

2. could it be cheaper to go from bangkok to hanoi and from hanoi to saigon (on another flight)? i%26#39;m asking because air asia works on the bangkok-hanoi line but not on the bangkok-saigon line.

3. i went to the air asia site and saw there that a flight from bangkok to hanoi is 1000 THB (thai currency i suppose), and a flight fro bangkok to penom -pen is 499 THB, for example. could it be that cheap? will it be much more expensive after adding taxes and currency exchange?

4. what flight company would you recommend?

Other options to look at would be via Singapore and then Jetstar asia or Tiger air to HCMC?
