Ongoing construction around Ramada Resort??

Hi,

I´m planing a trip to Khao Lak and Ramada Resort in November. Does anyone know if there are any ongoing construction close to the resort?

I read somewhere that the resort nextdoor (Mukdara Beach Villa %26amp; Spa Resort) are building a new lobby. Are they done?

Looking for a quiet holiday....

The Mukdara is certainly building a substantail lobby/conference facility that is nearing completion but it is set back from the beach and you can only see it from the Ramada when looking inland over the car park.

We did not stay at the Ramada. We only visited there last April, ';noticed'; the construction but were not aware of any noise in the hour or so mid-morning while were there. It was quite advanced then, it will be far more advanced by November. i would Email the resort and ask for reassurances.

Returned last wk from the Ramada and there was no construction happening nearby. Anything happening at the Mukdara would not effect you as previously mentioned by Arandora. Best to check with resort as things could change over a 4 month period.

There is construction to the south and inland a bit to the north where the Mukdara is building a HUGE reception building. But, due to the distance - I would think that neither will be a problem.

If you have a choice ask for the north side of the resort as the Mukdara construction is farther away than the construction to the south.
