Arandora - La Flora

Have read your pages on this resort but can you fill in a bit more detail please.

For a start we stayed at the Sarojin last time. How do the two beaches compare.

We know we are going from a 5* resort to a what 3 or 4*

What are the differnces between March and December.

Really trying to get more info.

Any other info greatly appreciated

Hi Ange,

I must admit we love Pak Weeb Beach and the coastline all the way from Cape Pakarang, past the Sarojin, Similana round the headland to Le Meridien and right up to Bansak Beach. Only 4 resorts on a stretch of wonderful beach about 2-3 miles long, I guess, perhaps more.

Bang Niang Beach near La Flora I thought was very nice too with more resorts on it but having the advantage of you being able to enjoy a lovely sunset stroll on the beach down to Nang Thong Beach and into La On Village coming out by the Nang Thong Supermarket. Then a short taxi drive home in the dark after dinner. Or up the road from La Flora (by taxi in the dark) to Bang Niang wehere there are a few good restaurants too on the road.

We%26#39;ve only been in March, April and May i.e. at the end of the High Season when it gets hotter as the Wet Season approaches.

Friends in KL tell me December/January is the best time weather wise, not as hot or humid.
