cape panwa hotel, 1 bedroom sutie.....worth it??????

hi, looking to everyone who has stayed at this hotel for advice!

i have a 10 night stay booked for nov, in a standard room. i have been looking into upgrading to a one bedroom jacuzzi suite after reading poor reviews about the standard rooms bathrooms, lack of upgrading etc!

Are the suties worth it?

thanks

i stayed in a standard room last year in O block i think. there was nothing wrong with the bathrooms......maybe just a little tired. and some rooms were in the process of being upgraded. i think you just have to make sure u get one that has been. nov is not a busy time of the year so that should not be too hard.

the suites ( as well as the suties) are nice but how much time of your holiday do you spend in a bathroom? i would rather use the money saved for food and tours.......being of scottish heritage myself!

Hi There,

I stayed in a standard room in Sept last year and was a little worried because of poor reviews. When I got there I was really surprised, I thought the room was lovely, yes the bathroom is a bit dated but still very clean , it is the resort and the staff that are fantastic.

I would not hesitate to stay thre again, in a standard room.

If yhey put you in a room you don%26#39;t like speak nicely to management

and I am sure they will help you, this always works for us.

Cheers and Happy Holidays,

Lindy.

Sorry and you thought your typing was bad Ha Ha!!

Hi Pinky56, whilst I can%26#39;t speak on the suites, we stayed in a standard room back in May this year and it ticked all boxes for us. The room was spacious, light and airy and has lovely sea views. I had read a few bad reports on here so had held back my expectations slightly, however we didn%26#39;t have one bad thing to report during our stay.

Depending on what you want from your time in the Cape Panwa, my advice would be that a standard room would more than do justice to use as a base, there is so many more sights to see and things to do that you wouldn%26#39;t necessarily benefit from what the suits would cost you extra...save the pennies and splurge elsewhere!!! Enjoy!!!

thanks everyone, i might take my chances and spend the extra on all those bags.......!!!
