Hua Hin in September

Hi all,

We have been quoted a great price for a night in Bangkok and 10 nights in Hua Hin mid-September this year.

While I think it is great and really want to book it, my girlfriend has concerns about the amount of rain we%26#39;ll get a day and her chances of getting a sun-tan.

Is anyone able to put her fears to bed or confirm that the rain will spoil the holiday and she will have no chance of coming black slightly tanned.

Cheers for your help.

Don%26#39;t worry about the rain. We always go in the rainy season as it is a bit cooler. Last time we went we had rain for one afternoon out of the whole week. Hua Hin is never as bad as the rest of Thailand. The time before when we went in September we spent most our time in Bangkok and had a few heavy showers in the afternoon%26#39;s but they finished with in the hour and it was still very warm.

Just go you will love it. We are back again in September.

Hua Hin in September

We went in September. Yes it is rainy season, but we still found it to be very warm and plenty of sunshine. If it rained it was only for 1 hour a day and never earlier than 4.30pm - so could always get a day on the beach.

Plus. because it is low season, prices are cheaper and everywhere is less busy.

A good time to go!

P.S - The only problem was the sea, was full of jelly fish so couldn%26#39;t swim.

I go every September and have never been bothered by the rain. There has never been much rain and when there is, it down pours and then stops. Re sun tan, its an average of 30 degrees all year round so would not worry on that score.
