greenpark for xmas and new year

Has anyone stayed here recently? Iam trying to get info. about the hotel being refurbished, which is what i was told. Ihave tried to send an e. mail to green park but it was rejected, must be the wrong e. mail. Anyone know there correct one. many thanks.

Lots and lots of cheap hotels in Pattaya. If I have the location right, this hotel is located on the far North end of Pattaya. A lot of the more popular tourist destinations are further South (Walking Street, Royal Garden, etc.)

If you intend to go during the ';low'; season there are lots of hotels with vacancies. My preference is something halfway between South Pattaya and North Pattaya so that you can easily walk to many places.

If you have been to Pattaya before and you like this particular hotel, you are free to get a room in another place and simply take a 10 baht baht bus to this area and check them out, if it is still okay - book the rest of the trip there (may even be a little cheaper too!)

Fortunately transportation is pretty cheap in Pattaya (baht bus, set route - foreigners pay 10 baht!)

We stayed there April 06 and it hadn%26#39;t be refurbished then, but our room was nice enough and clean. The pool is huge and rather nice. The breakfast was OK in comparison to some places we%26#39;d been previously. It%26#39;s located yes, at the North end but by the ';Dolphin'; a roundabout intersection which I don%26#39;t think is ';way north';. We walked easily from the hotel to walking street and the pier and all over the place actually. Only used a 10 BHT bus once when we ended up in Jomtien (sp?). Had to hire a baht bus to get from the south end to the hotel only once and got nicely drenched during Songkran. Don%26#39;t use the tailor at the hotel... he made two shirts for my husband and we got them at 10:00 PM the night before we were leaving and they weren%26#39;t quite what he%26#39;d asked for. There%26#39;s a nice little French bakery around the corner to the left as you leave the driveway... if you need a little Western fix. About half the patrons were single men, if you know what I mean but we mostly onlysaw them coming and going. Don%26#39;t know the email - I booked with Sawadee.

thanks for the info. Ihave just found out that refurbishment has started at the hotel, and will be finished by oct.. Which room was you in? We have booked for 16 nights in a strandard room or bungalow. Were there any english people in the hotel?

better try Seaville Place in Soi 1, Beach Road North Pattaya.

Seaville is walking distance to the beach, Central Festival Mall, Tiffany and Alcazar, Numerous bars and restaurants. 10-minute ride going to the walking street and Royal Garden Plaza.
