Thai are expensive and reliable. (they fly out of Suvarnabhumi).

We had a great flight with Thai Airways from Phuket to Bangkok-no complaints at all !!

We%26#39;ve booked to fly with Air Asia in October. Have not used them before but the flights were convenient and the fares reasonable and I have not read any really negative comments about them anywhere apart from some delays here and there. Of course, with budget airlines with tight turn arounds, you must anticipate possible delay and plan any connections accordingly.
