any comment on construction noise on railay west...looking at Jan 08...any feedback would be appreciated and reciprocated...mikey

Had a great vacation there in July 2007. There is still some construction going on but it was almost insignificant noise wise. It seems like the heavier building stage is over and now it%26#39;s mostly finishing touches.

Have been there on June 2007 ..hmm..on West no or less Construction Noise is depend which Resort/Place you catch..

But if you will go for climbing ..there is allover (mostly )the sound from the Generator which produce the electricy.. this is is also on the eastern part ....

I work in some resort at Railay West. The only one resort is under construction ';Railay Village Resort'; however, they have plan to complete before this September . The largest construction will be built at Railay East next year (Bunga Thani)maybe wrong spelling.They are doing 5 star resort there.

There are not many hotel located on ';Railay West';

Rayavadee, Railay Bay Resort, Sand Sea Resort, Railay Village,

Railay Beach Club.
