Melb/Bankok/Phuket

Does anyone know if these flights are all in and out of the new airport?Is there much chaos between the two flights.

Which airline?

If you are flying international into Bangkok you arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport, some of the Thai Airways flights for Phuket from Bangkok also go from there, the other airport ( Don Muang -DMK) only comes into it if you are flying Bangkok-Phuket with Nok Air or One-2-Go, OR, Thai have booked you on a connection from there, which is unlikely.

We are flying Thai all the way%26lt;but is a change of floght at Bankok.Is the change hectic?I know the airport is huge.

Hi Jo Anne, I assume as you are out of melbourne you will be on tg980 then tg203 to phuket, we did this trip in june and go again in 2 weeks, they are both out of the new airport, and yes it is humongous, quite a long way from where you alight to the departure gate. you have an 1 1/2 gap from landing to take off, so will not have much time to waste. Chaos depends on how used you are to travel, just don%26#39;t forget the lag%26#39;s and opening your hand bag and carry on luggage many times. Your luggage will be checked thru to phiket so it is no worry and as you go through customs and immigrartion in bangkok it makes the arrival very quick at phuket. But relax and enjoy the trip it is worth it for the holiday in the los, cheers alex and liz
