Best beach? Hat nai than or Hat Nai yang?

Hi we are travelling to Phuket in December and like either Naithonburi resort on Hat Nai Than or Nai yang resort on Hat nai yang beach - any one got any information/ suggestions? cheers

I tend to like Nai Thon better as it is just less busy - and is quite beautiful from end to end.

Nai Yang is also a lovely beach - but the south end tends be a mud flat at low tide. Nai Yang has its own charm though as the central part is lined with beach shack restaurants and small bars - all offering excellent food and drink for very good prices.

That said - Nai Thon is so pristine that the sand literally squeaks as you walk on it.

Both are great - you really can%26#39;t go wrong.

IF prices are similar the Naithonburi is a very new and much nicer resort - but the Nai Yang Resort is more of a Thai style bungalow resort. Depends on the style you like.

Plenty of options for good local restaurants in both areas.
