Attire in the Anantara!

We are off in a couple of weeks to stay in the Anantara, Hua Hin and just wondered if there is a formal dress code in the restaurants at the hotel, ie. does my husband need long trousers and shirt or can he get away with smartish shorts and shirt or is it fairly casual?

I havenyt heard about a formal dress code, we are going also on 16th August to the Anantara.

We have been to various hotels and places in thailand and have not come acrosss nay formal dress code , my husband never takes long trousers only shorts.

We dont eat very often in hotels though as we prefer to look around and not be tied!

We stayed at the Anantara a couple of years ago, as far as I can remember there was no formal dress code, but we did only eat by the restaurant by the pool not in the hotel. He did wear a shirt but him and my two son%26#39;s always do on a night.

Hi, stayed at the Anantara in June this year, regarding dress code, there is%26#39;t one.

Myself and wife tended to feel over dressed from time to time as I had shirt %26amp; trousers, she smartish dress. We found it to be mostly Mixed dress of shorts T shirts casual. So whatever you prefer will be fine but would no take anything to formal no need.
