Suk 11 Hostel, on Sukhumvit Road Soi 11 is pretty popular.

Sukhumvit Road is a good location, lots of cheap hotels, easy access to the Skytrain, travel agents, restaurants, bars, street vendors and even malls.

Any guesthse near / ard bangkapi??

Forgot to ask this question - do you have a purpose for staying in the Bangkapi area? That area is sort of away from many tourist digs and also not convenient to the Skytrain service.

Bangkapi is mainly a backpacker here and has a decent nightlife if you want. But the more developed part of bangkok and a better more convenient way to get around bangkok is on sukhumvit road. And suk 11 like mentioned is really good.
