Booking hotels for same day, whos the quickest?

IF I decide to not book in advance and just come check out the various options and then book on arrival, which of the reservation companies might be able to guarantee me a reservation the quickest? for the same day.... prefer one of them who I can call instead of internet...

Sawadee? hoteltravel? asiarooms?

Anyone ever done this before?

If you go to www.asiaoz.com and then to the last minute hotel availability and put in Phuket they will show which hotels have rooms, and how many, for that very same night or next night, it is absolutely %26#39;instant%26#39; as it shows the number of rooms available at that moment, you pay 12% deposit and I think $6 and then the rest you pay when you get to the hotel, it is %26#39;instant%26#39; and if they show rooms available it is done there are then, lots of cheap last %26#39;minute%26#39; literaly deals.

It covers same day bookings so it%26#39;s not like %26#39;requesting a room%26#39;, it is there and shows which hotels have how many rooms, you click and it%26#39;s done.
