Just wondering if you could advise me on which coast is better to travel in mid-August. I know it%26#39;s rainy season on both Islands. My friend is visiting and wants some sun, fun and parting.

Krabi vs. Ko Chang- Mid August
Statistically, there%26#39;s far less rain in Krabi area than Koh Chang during the rainy season. So, baring freak storms in Krabi or freak dry spells around Koh Chang, you have the best chance to avoid a lot of rain if you go to Krabi.
Having said that anyone who was on KC last week will have got a good tan - lots of sunshine. But the rain has returned today.
