accomodation in koh samui

Hello lpsingh,

Chaweng Beach is where most of the nightlife exists. Places like The Green Mango,Reggae Pub,Ark Bar etc are pretty popular %26amp; good fun.

As far as accommodation goes there certainly is no shortage along Chaweng Beach for what you are after but in order to give some recommendations we need to know how much per night your budget is %26amp; what time of the year you`re planning on visiting as the room rates change at different times of the year.

Look forward to hearing from you again

accomodation in koh samui

thank you for your offer to help, we are flying into samui on the 13th september 2007 and leave again on the 16/17the not sure yet. looking for something reasonably priced approximately 3 star. i have looked at asiarooms.com %26amp; hotelthailand.com but i just cant tell from the pictures. we have been getting internet quotes of about 160-200 euro for the 3 nights stay. is this reasonable. i also noticed that the 4star hotels have a huge jump in price. what do u think of getting accomodation on arrival. someone mentioned that i may get a better deal that way but im sceptical.

thanks for the help

We stayed at Rocky Resort last year for our honeymoon and that was lovely. You can get a little bus/truck(!) in to town very easily as they stop outside the resort but it might be a bit far out of Chaweng if you%26#39;re after a lively nightlife - although we always managed to get taxis back without a problem.

When you fly out to the island, pick up a Samui Dining Guide at the airport - it%26#39;s got loads of fantastic places to eat in there and we tried a few which were all amazing, particularly recommend Budsaba in Chaweng (north) and Karebu.

Hi

Have a look at Als Resort. It`s about 55 euro a night and is close to the nightlife also the reviews for here are pretty good.

thanks guys, thats a great help, did any of u see the malibu beach hotel, it seems to be ok but as usual i cant tell anything from the pics.
