Dynasty Inn Grande

Hi

I am hoping for some assistance on this hotel.

We have booked to stay there for 3 nights in Deptember with our teenage children. Previously stayed in the Bel Aire Princess which seems to be the same area and found it to be a good spot.

I have read some reports about this hotel being very much in the red light district. Does anyone know if the security at the hotel is good, and whether it is suitable for a 3 night stay with 12 %26amp; 14 year olds.

The price was the obvious atttraction - as we need 2 rooms, it can work out quite expensive but this seems very reasonable.

Any advice on recent stays here would be much welcomed.

Dynasty Inn Grande

We have stayed at the Dynasty Inn Grande three times in the last 6 weeks (retired couple). It is actually just off the Red Light District of Soi 4 (Nana) and that is plenty far enough away to not have to acknowledge that area at all - walk the other way to the skytrain.

Security is fine, with in room safe and attentive staff on the front desk and in the lobby at all times. The lobby is well lit 24 hours a day, and non guests/casual visitors are screened prior to access.

We lived for a year at the apartments opposite this hotel and watched it being built 4 years ago, and since then have used it as our accomodation of choice on many occasions.

The guests are mainly European/American/Australian, and there are always families in the lobby, with children of all ages, checking in and out or passing through. The staff speak English and are very helpful and polite.

The restaurant is reasonably priced and there is a pool and small gym, and a very good tour/travel agent on the ground floor, wireless internet is available free of charge in the rooms, which are spacious and bathrooms very clean and well appointed.

I think you can be confident that the facilities as are exactly as on the website and best of all, good value for money. Enjoy!

Do not confuse this property with the Dynasty Inn on Soi 4 which is definitely in the red light area of the street.
