Hua Hin to Phuket

We are a family of 7 adults Flying into Bankok and have booked a villa in Hua Hin for the Xmas week then have booked a hotel at Patong beach, Phuket for the New year week.

Having checked all options of flying to our destanations I do like the idea of driving to Hau Hin then driving from there to Phuket then flying back to Bankok.

I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me.

Hua Hin to Phuket

Driving is an excellent way to go - using a professional driver and vehicle, of course.

A van (also called a minibus), would take your party in comfort and allow for frequent comfort stops on the way, as necessary.

They will collect you at the airport and deliver to Hua Hin hotel in about 3 hours.

The same driver and vehicle will also be happy to collect you from your hotel and drive you to your Phuket destination.

This sort of chauffeur driven option is usually extortionately expensive in UK, but is economical for 7 people in Thailand, as you pay per vehicle and not necessarily per passenger.

There are many transport companies around contactable via the internet, but it is a good idea to collect advice from other travellers who have been happy with a service.

Also be aware that some vehicles are not properly insured, or have sufficient seat belts, so do ask those questions.

Hua Hin to Phuket

Talk about Deja vu - we ( me and my wife) are going to Hua Hin on the 21st of December til the 28th then going back to BKK and flying to Phuket the same day ,until the 6th of Jan, Staying at the Max hotel in Patong, Please remenber to book Richards Friday night BBQ In Patong on the 4th Jan.
