Dino Park

How much is a round of mini golf at Dino park?is it worth going.Staying at Horizon Karon

Dino Park

Hi JK1

Sorry, I cant remember the prices but it was overly expensive. Of memory, I think it was between 400 - 600 Bht each (around $5 -$6 bucks ???).

At any rate, considering where your staying, its worth a short stroll during the evening to enjoy a game of mini golf and the display. Your about a ten minute stroll away. Our family enjoyed it anyway....

Dino Park

Sorry, I meant that it WASNT overly expensive.....

I am unable to recall exact cost either but i think about 500 baht each also.

IIt is a lot of fun and well worth doing and if u can go in the night it is a bit cooler and all the lights and special effects are on and makes it just that bit more fun.

We ate at the restaurant after, at about 9pm and that was a great meal also, not super cheap by thai standards but cheaper than home and the setting is beautiful and the food was lovely. I think from memory a meal for 5 of us with drinks and desert was around $75aud, 2100 baht. It was one of our dearest meals for the trip but we thought was well worth it and had a great night.

You are very close to it staying at Horizon Karon and may i say i am very jelous!

Hi Jkaye

We have just come back and we all went to Dino Park. I belive it was approx 660bhat for 2 Adults and 1 Child for a round of mini golf. You can also pay just to walk through (think that was 120 Baht per Adult). We all had a ball there and the golf course is definitely soemthing to see ...

One word of warning a friend of ours who was ahead slipped over - i do advise that you walk on the walkways that they provide instead of one the greens as some of them are quite steep :)

Cheers

Hi Jkaye

Your children will love the dino restaurant. Also at night there is a baby elephant there that you can pat and feed.

400 to 600 bht in Australian would be $13 to $20. I think it was 600 baht because l remember it was going to cost around $60 to $80 dollars Australian for my children and l to play, so we gave it a miss

We just got back a couple of weeks ago, and i rememeber it was like 300-400 per person. Not really worth doing. The course isnt really anything special at all, I probably wouldn%26#39;t bother if I were you.

Thanks, Alicia

We went last year and took kids 6 %26amp; 8. They really enjoyed it but we did also. It wasn%26#39;t very expensive but from what I remember it was hot so make sure you carry some water!.

I thought that it was worth going to and we got some great pictures of dinasaurs, waterfalls and the volcano erupting.

As everyone has a different opinion on wether its worth it or not, I can only suggest that if this sort of thing does appeal to you , you will enjoy it....

tThe advice to go later on when it was cooler is spot on.

Cheers

Your absolutely right Murf,

As you can tell I wasnt having a good day on writing this. My currency conversion obviously needs a lot of work. ha ha

This is a great place, we rolled up to thinking what a joke. Had dinner their, got our meals-they were great. After that had a look around the park, feed the elephant. Mini golf was the best course i have ever seen(amazingly cool) it was only 200bt per person. A great night out, at a great price!!!!
