looking for a cheap hotel which has a pool with swim up bar......................

Not too sure about it being cheap but The Holiday Inn in Patong has a GREAT swim-up bar with happy hour/s everyday with cheap cocktails etc...would highly recommend it!

I got a brochure from my travel agent which lists most of the main hotels in phuket and lists the major facilities, including swim up bars. Unfortunately, i don%26#39;t have a copy of it at the moment.

I used to love swim up bars until I noticed one day in Bali, that a bunch of blokes were drinking beer all day but never got up once for a toilet break. I no longer like bars in Pools. hahah..

You just reminded me we saw the same thing in Bali!!!

We are staying at Sunset Beach Resort that has a swim up bar that we got at very goods prices. It is a little bit out of patong, but they hava a shuttle bus that goes in to Patong, we will be staying there from the 10th August for 14 nights.

When we get back we will do a report on this resort

The Swiss Palm Beach Resort (in Patong) has a swim up bar and very reasonable rates.

We are going there in September and I booked direct with the hotel. They are very prompt in replying to emails.

The Horizon Karon has a swim up bar and is also a budget hotel. I didnt see any yellow tinges to the water either.....
