Thailand in rainy season?

Hello,

My wife and i are thinking about taking 2.5 weeks and going to Thailand, but are concerned about going during rainy season.

Can anyone advise on what weather we should expect, and should we instead visit during a different time of year?

a couple of things about rainy season

Thailand is a large and varied country the Rainy season is usuaully between June and Oct but not the entire country at the same time the rain seems to move around during the months certain months one area may have more rain than another even a hundred Kilometers difference. one place may be dry.

unless it a monsson the rain does not last all day usually a tropical down pore then sun.

pick a time and place then check the weather charts for average patterns

you can get rain even in the dry season

on a 2 to 5 week trip during rainy season you will see rain. how much and how often depends on where you are at and your luck.

I was in thailand last Sept for 3 weeks only had two days where it rained all day.
