Weather advice

If you can choose your time to visit Thailand, is it crazy to consider September, and if not....is it true that Koh Samui might be the driest place to hang out on a beach? Any suggestions for places to avoid the wet in September?

Weather advice

Hi,

September is not the best time as it is wet season in Thailand. High season starts in December. As I%26#39;m going in September too, I%26#39;ve been searching a lot on this. It usually rains everyday BUT, it usually lasts max an hour not more (if you are not unlucky) so it shouldn%26#39;t ruin your holiday. Sometimes it is cloudy but such weather may be great for exploring cities and travelling. Ko Samui (or Ko tao or Ko Phangan) is probably on of the best places to go in September as the wet season starts there at November. My friend just returned from Samui and didn%26#39;t have any rain.

Weather advice

Thanks Kata, Lonely Planet%26#39;s guides are hard to follow, but the website has some good advice, though it seems questions about the weather are very common. See you under an umbrella!
