Phuket FantaSea, is it worth it?

Our tour operator offers ';Phuket FantaSea';, as an optional and wants $46 per person including transportation and dinner. Is it worth it? Does anyone know how much the entrance fee is? Could we get there on our own from the Patong Resort Hotel in Phuket,and save some money?

I have another question. Is the Simon Cabaret in Phuket any good as far as a ';Ladyboys'; show goes? Does anyone know how much entry fees are and is it easy to get to from the Patong Resort Hotel?

Not too sure how much Fantasea is but we just booked when we got there, you will probably get it the same price if not cheaper. This show is amazing and well worth it and the dinner included is great too ! In my opinion this is a MUST SEE !!
