New & Old Airport

We had a holiday in Bangkok %26amp; Samui last summer, so used the old airport.

Has the new airport completely replaced the old one? I assume if we fly London to Bangkok we fly into the new one, are the domestic flights to Samui from the new one too?

Sorry! Also, does the new airprt have a similar taxi system outside the building as the old one had for meter taxis?

hi,

International flights and some domestic fly in to suvarnabhumi airport (new one). If you are flying to samui then you will use new airport also.

I flew to Krabi with Nok air last May and went from Don Muang.

New airport as Meter Taxi rank outside arrivals.

Nok, one two go (1-2-go) and some of the Thai air flights use old airport... (DMK).. the rest use the new one (BKK)..

As already said... meter taxi ranks out the front.. Walk past the touts to get there.
